Has anybody tried Nuphredine? Does it work?

Please don’t give me the song and dance about diet and exercise. I know some people don’t try that first but believe me I DO diet and exercise. I know all about target heart rate and all that stuff. I’ve been exercising regularly for 6 years. Weight training cardio and everything. I’m 40 years old and I’ve been dieting for 20 years. When I exercise and watch what I eat I stay the same. I never lose.
My problem has always been my appetite and that’s what I need help with. I’ve been hungry my whole life and that’s how I’m wired.
I am 35 lbs overweight and need something to help me with my appetite. I’ve tried diet pills and they work for awhile until I get used to them and then I gain it all back.
I’m trying to look for something more natural to help me.
If you have had success with anything other than Nuphedrine, I am open to suggestions. Thanks
NO! I am not talking about ephedrine!
I am talking about Nuphedrine.

Grrrr! I wish people wouldn’t answer when they don’t bother to research a question or give the person asking the question the credit that they know what they are talking about!
I’ve been to the doctor and I’m tired of making them richer, taking pills that make me a basket case and gaining all the weight back. I’ve already had tests done. There is nothing wrong with me except that I have a large appetite.
I just want something to help me not be so hungry all the time that is natural and not full of chemicals.
I don’t take anything without doing extensive research.

Does anyone own a Polar Fitness Monitor watch-F6?

I got this as a gift and it came with a T317 Transmitter-do I have to use the chest strap in order to read my calories burned?

If you are like me, you bought a Timex Heart Rate Monitor but found the thick instruction manual to be extremely confusing. This video shows you everything you need to know to use your heartrate monitor: How to set it up with your personal stats, how to use it during a workout and see your heartrate in real time, and finally how to find out how many calories you burned at the end. This simple video is better than 150 pages of instruction manual

Go to: www.amazon.com Hi – I’ve used a lot of training devices in the past. My list includes Polar HRM of several models, the garmin 301 GPS model, stopwatches and a finger, even the new Nike/iPod combo and this one really takes the cake for me. I have a scientific background and work in the tech industry, but even though I understand math and engineering, it’s not what I want when I am working out. I want simplicity, reliability and features that sit there until I ask for them. I don’t want to get a degree in deviceology to make it work each and every time I’m out for a run, hike or bike. Sometimes I am training for a marathon or triathlon – so I’d prefer my unit be capable to help me reach those goals when I need to plan workouts and analyze data about how my training is going – but the wrist unit itself has to be intuitive and stay out of the way when I just want to work out. This model can expand with GPS, or two different bike modules, or a foor pod if distance measurement is something you want in addition to HRM and time of training data. It also can be used with the SmartBelt (which cost extra). The smartbelt will work with the T3 during exercise (just like the included HRM measurement belt that you wear around your chest), but the optional Smartbelt stores advanced workout metrics so you could geek out with PC/coach and truly train like the pros if you wish. The unit is well designed, thin, utilitarian yet not overly geeky (I would take it off for a black tie

Go to: www.amazon.com Sports Instruments Pro 9 Heart Rate Monitor The Sports Instruments Pro 9 is a wireless heart monitor with chest strap. It has many features and functions, and the basic functions are easy to use. Beyond that, you will need to study the manual. In addition to working wirelessly, it will communicate with gym equipment set up for a wireless heart monitor, including the Precor C-842 exercise bike. The Pro 9 is attractive, and tracks your workout using five individual training zones, based on your lactate threshold or maximum heart rate. Lactate threshold requires medical tests or an educated guess, so I am using maximum heart rate. The Pro 9 allows you to choose a variety of display modes. My two favorites are heart rate and zone, or the zone and percentage of maximum heart rate. The display is as easy to read as it appears to be in the photograph. And I am over 50, so I can’t deal with tiny numbers. The Pro 9 is a step up from the Pro 7, and stores a record of time spent in all 5 training zones, percentage of time in each zone, workload index for each workout and average/maximum/ending heart rate for each lap and split for the last 5 workouts. (The Pro 7 records only one workout/set of data). The Pro 9 has dual interval timers which can be linked to the lap chronograph to create on/off intervals. In addition to the heart rate monitor and timer features, it has a clock, so you can ride without your regular watch and still know the time (and date). And if

I have a 70 % stenosis of my LAD artery(single artery stenosis). My cardiologist will not commit to intervention. He wants me to tell him to do this. I have an average resting heart rate of 48 BPM. I am 70 years of age with good cholesterol. I have been diagnosed with a complete right bundle branch block and a left bundle anterior block (bifascicular.) I have intermittent bouts of Angina. My cardiologist says that he is going to watch me over a period of time when I don’t know if I have much time left.
. I exercise and am in fairly good shape. I want to know if anyone could tell me if I am a candidate for MIDCAB. I am 6′ tall and weigh 195 lbs. Second opinions are 2 months away.

When checking for your heart rate manually, how do you do it exactly? What do you count?

Your heart goes, "ba bum.. ba bum.. ba bum" so do you just count the bas or do you count both bas and bums?

My sister and I did a home fitness test and she said to only count the bas. Immediately after an intense short workout my heart rate was 58 bpm while at rest it was 48. Using the same method of counting, my sister’s heart rate was 134 after the workout and 80 at rest. Hers seems about right but mine seems rather low considering I’m not exactly the model of health. But if we were supposed to count the bas and bums and we double our measurements, then that puts me where I would expect but my sister is now off the charts.

Throughout the test we took our heart rate about 6 times and received similar results each time so these figures are precise if not accurate.

Given this confusion, I wonder if a heart rate monitor may be in order as we start our new workout routine. What can I expect to pay for a cheap one?
I was taking my pulse using my finger on my Carotid artery for 30 seconds and doubling it. So I was counting 26-29 "ba bum" beats over 30 seconds and doubling that for bpm.

Is it possible my heart is doing a "BA bum ba bum BA bum ba bum?" LOL, I hope that makes sense.
