Heart rate training can be an important part of any workout program, but like most new training tools if you are not using the tool correctly you could have trouble fully maximizing it. Before he started training, Dave performed a Polar fitness test with the OwnIndex feature. OwnIndex provides him with his VO2 max and heart rate max values.
